The Public 100 Project is a long-form golf documentary series dedicated to exploring the best public golf courses in the United States: one course at a time.

Guided by Golf Digest’s Top 100 Public Courses (2025), this project follows the journey of playing, walking, and documenting the courses that define the public game. These are places anyone can book, step onto, and experience: no memberships, no private gates, no invitations required.

From iconic coastal links to inland classics, The Public 100 Project is about more than rankings. It’s about the land, the architecture, the communities around these courses, and the shared experience of public golf. Each stop highlights what makes a course special: how it moves across the terrain, how it’s meant to be walked, how wind, ground, and design shape the way the game is played.
